League Updates

Individual Standings: individual standings are re-ranked by percentage. To be eligible for the top shooter award you must play 80% of the season. Players added late in the season are not eligible for this award. To qualify for All-Stars you must play 70% of weeks available, this remains the same. We have built into stats the ability to track this, see here. This page is linked to the website when you click on "Stats" at https://www.lbbilliards.com/. On the last two columns you can see if you have the ability to qualify for either Top Shooter or All-Starts. Some of the people at the top that may not have many weeks will start to drop to the bottom if they don't have the ability to meet the 70% or 80% threshold as we finish up the season.

Handicap: the first half of the season is locked in place but for the second part of the season the most handicap points that will be awarded are 4. In order to track this correctly and due to LMS limitations the correct stats are posted to our website and are now live. https://www.lbbilliards.com/. Disregard stats in Fargo App as those will be inaccurate going forward. 1 point will be applied for every 85 point difference in team fargo rate up to and not to exceed 4 points.

Team Fargo Rate & Penalty: for the second part of the season teams over the 3,000 cap will be assessed the penalty. 1 point will be deducted for every 50 points over.

Forfeits: going forward forfeits will receive a 15-0. Reminder teams, we would like you to reschedule the match within two weeks rather than forfeit. Captains must notify the other captain you are playing against plus the directors (Brett and Melissa) before noon on the day of play as to your decision. Reminder, you only need two players to play a match. Each player can pea only once in the evening which means 8 matches could be played and only 7 forfeits will be applied. We would rather have teams take this approach rather than just forfeit the whole match.

Team Drops: both Roxanne's and Port City 2 match scores have been zeroed out for the team and players and is reflected in stats. I have recorded the money we did receive from these teams which will be paid out, more details on that below.

New Team: Lizzie is taking over Port City #2 place with new players. They are excited to be a part of this league. Their players understand they will likely come in last place and that team winnings (19th) place and we will split winnings in half since they are playing half a season. The remaining amount is added back into payouts. Lizzie's team also understands that they won't be able to participate in Top Shooter or All-Stars Tournaments. Glad to have Lizzie's team on board!

Pea Games - Will stay at 7 per half, about 35% of weeks.

Tracking of Team Dues Paid, Pea'ed Games, Payouts, & League Balance: we had this in place last year but forgot to remind captains of this feature on our website this year. This transparency can be found under the "About US" section of the website, and by clicking on "League Payments". Captains have the password which will get them access to the spreadsheet where all this information is contained. Hopefully this will provide teams with the utmost transparency. Team payouts have been adjusted for the two teams that have been dropped.
